Yes, claim it, as long as you treat the $10 as a separate thing from the deposit match that comes in the same package. Caesars Palace Online Casino credits $10 when you register in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan or West Virginia. You clear it by wagering $10 on eligible slots, once, within seven days. That is about as light as a playthrough gets, and you pay nothing to try. Where players get hurt is the second half of the package: a 100% deposit match up to $1,000 with a 15x rollover on deposit plus bonus. That part deserves the same scrutiny you gave the last bonus that burned you.

This page is for a player in one of those four states who wants to know what the $10 really is before typing in a code. Connecticut is not on the list: none of the sources we checked includes it. The terms below come from Caesars' own promo-details page, as we read it the week of September 28, 2026, and from three affiliate pages that publish the game-by-game terms in more detail. Caesars can change any of this without notice, so recheck the page before you register.

The common mistake is treating "no deposit" as "no strings". The $10 has strings, just short ones. The long strings are on the offer that shows up the moment you make your first deposit.

The $10 is bonus money, not cash. It lands in your account at signup, and you cannot withdraw it or anything it wins until you have wagered through it. Here is what Caesars' promo-details page states:

• Amount: $10, credited to new players who register in NJ, PA, MI or WV.
• Code: WELCOME on Caesars' own site.
• Wagering: 1x, meaning $10 in total wagers.
• Clock: all wagering done within 7 days of registration.
• Games: "The $10 no deposit casino bonus and the deposit match bonus may only be used on Select Slot Games only." The full eligible list sits on each state's Terms of Service page.

The affiliate pages describe a tiered structure that the official summary does not mention. SportsbookReview (published September 16, 2026, last verified September 28, 2026), VegasInsider and Insider Gaming all list 1x on slots, 2x on video poker and 5x on everything else. In dollars that is a $10 playthrough on slots, $20 on video poker and $50 on other eligible games. VegasInsider and Insider Gaming say baccarat, craps, roulette and Sic Bo do not count at all. SportsbookReview names only craps.

Those two readings do not fully agree. Caesars' own page says slots only, and the affiliates say video poker and other games count at higher multiples. We could not reconcile them from the sources we have. The safe reading, and the only one that matters for $10, is this: play eligible slots and nothing else. Slots carry the 1x rate either way, and there is no reason to spend $50 of turnover on a table game when $10 on a slot does the job.

One more thing the official summary says plainly: sports betting and other non-slot events do not count toward wagering.

The code you use depends on where you sign up. Caesars' site uses WELCOME. The affiliate pages route the same package through their own tracked codes. The table below sets out what each one says, because the published details are not identical.

The codes lead to the same package. Pick one and use it. Differences between the columns are differences in how each page describes the terms, and Caesars' own page and state Terms of Service govern. If a detail matters to you, the state Terms of Service page is where to settle it.

Before you start, check that you meet every eligibility line. A failure on any of them usually shows up at withdrawal, when it costs the most.

1. Open the state Terms of Service page for your state and find the eligible slot list. Caesars' promo page says the full list lives there. What you should see: named slot titles. Cost: five minutes. Do this first, because a spin on the wrong game uses bonus money without counting toward the $10.

2. Register with one code. Enter WELCOME on Caesars' site, or the code from whichever affiliate page sent you. What you should see: $10 in bonus funds on your balance right away. SportsbookReview and VegasInsider both say it credits immediately. Cost: nothing. If the $10 does not appear, contact support before you play a single spin. It is much easier to fix a missing credit before any wagering has happened.

3. Note the deadline. Caesars' page counts seven days from registration. SportsbookReview says seven days from receipt, which in practice is the same moment because the bonus credits at signup. Write down the date and time you registered and treat that time plus 7 days as the hard stop.

4. Play $10 through an eligible slot. At 1x, you need $10 in wagers. At $0.50 a spin that is 20 spins, and at $1.00 it is 10. What you should see: the wagering tracker in your account reaching 100%. Cost: the $10 bonus itself, which may be gone by the end. That is the normal result. You are risking Caesars' money, not yours.

5. Leave video poker and tables alone. Even on the affiliate reading, video poker needs $20 of play and other games need $50, and baccarat, craps, roulette and Sic Bo may count for nothing. On the official reading, none of it counts. There is no case for using them here.

6. If you finish with a balance, check whether it is withdrawable. None of our sources publishes a maximum cashout for the $10, and VegasInsider and Insider Gaming both say none is specified. Insider Gaming does report a $10 minimum cash prize redemption threshold, so a few dollars of winnings may not be redeemable on their own. What you should see: the balance moved from bonus to cash, and a withdrawal option available once verification is done. None of our sources says clearly whether Caesars requires a real-money deposit before a no-deposit win can be withdrawn. Check the cashier and the state Terms of Service before you assume either way.

7. Decide on the deposit match as a separate question. Do not deposit just because the account is open. SportsbookReview and VegasInsider both say a $10 minimum deposit triggers the match. Before your first deposit, confirm in the cashier or with support whether the match applies automatically or can be declined. If it attaches, your deposit is locked into a 15x rollover on deposit plus bonus within seven days. The section on costs below does that math.

Playing a game that does not count. You will know this has happened when the wagering tracker does not move after a spin or a hand. The fix is prevention: play only titles on your state's eligible list. If you already put bonus money into roulette or craps, that money is gone for wagering purposes, and there is nothing to recover.

Letting the clock run out. Caesars' page is plain that all wagering must be done within seven days of registration. You recognize this one too late, when the bonus balance disappears. Clear the $10 the day you register. It takes minutes.

Treating the deposit match as part of the free offer. This is the one that repeats last time's lesson. The $10 is 1x. The match attached to it is 15x on deposit plus bonus on slots, and SportsbookReview lists 30x on video poker and 75x on other games. Assuming the lawsuit changed the terms. In June 2025 the Public Health Advocacy Institute sued Caesars Interactive Entertainment, Caesars Entertainment and Harrah's Philadelphia in Philadelphia's First Judicial District over an earlier version of this deposit match, as Casino.org reported. That offer was advertised as 100% up to $2,500, with 15x on slots, 30x on video poker and 75x on blackjack and most table games, all within seven days. In its own announcement of the case (Brubaker v. Chester Downs and Marina, LLC et al., Case ID 250602325), PHAI worked out that a blackjack player depositing $2,500 would need $375,000 in wagers. At $10 a hand and about 2 hands a minute, that is roughly 312.5 hours, or more than 44 hours a day across the window. The current match is capped at $1,000 rather than $2,500, but SportsbookReview's September 2026 listing shows the same 15x, 30x and 75x tiers and the same seven days. Our sources do not report how the case has been resolved. Do not read the lower cap as a gentler structure. The multiples are the same.

Tripping the account restrictions. If you have ever had a Caesars or William Hill account in another state, the offer is not for you. That tends to come to light at verification, after you have played. If you are unsure, ask support before you register.

The $10 itself works the same way in all four states on the sources we have: same amount, same 1x on slots, same seven days. The differences that are published sit in the add-ons and in each state's Terms of Service.

Pennsylvania. The 2,500 Reward Credits do not simply arrive. Caesars' page says PA players must wager at least $25 on casino games within 7 days to qualify. Clearing the $10 gets you only $10 of that. The other $15 would have to come from your own money, and that probably means a deposit and whatever rollover the match puts on it. If the credits are the reason you are thinking about depositing in PA, work out the match's rollover before you decide that 2,500 credits are worth it.

New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia. Caesars' page says the 2,500 Reward Credits post within 30 days of registration. The affiliate pages describe a $25 wagering trigger in every state, so the official wording and the affiliate wording do not match here. Check your state's Terms of Service before counting on the credits without a wager.

Eligible games by state. Caesars publishes the eligible slot list separately for each state. A title that counts in New Jersey may not be on the Michigan list. Check the list for the state you are standing in.

Connecticut. Not a participating state on any source we checked. Being physically in NJ, PA, MI or WV while you play is a stated condition.

The $10 is worth claiming. It costs you no money. It clears with a $10 slot playthrough, and none of our sources lists a cap on what it can win. The realistic outcome is that most of it is gone by the end of the playthrough, and that is fine, because it was never yours. What you get from it is a test run of Caesars' app, cashier and verification before you put in a dollar of your own. That has real value if you are still deciding where to deposit.

It is wrong for three kinds of player. The first is anyone who already has a Caesars or William Hill account in another state, who is not eligible.
